In this section, the addition of watercoloring can be seen when added to my pen & ink rendered portraits displayed in the first section. The approach to the pen & ink portion of the rendering does not change, I simply add watercolor directly on top of the final drawing to bring it to an even more precise depiction of the house with the correct colors shown. As in the pen & ink renderings, the illustration board remains the same, high-quality, cold press board that accepts watercolor quite well. Board sizes are also the same as a pen & ink portrait; 15″x20″ and 10″x15″.
